My Nighttime Routine!

I hope everyone’s summer is going great so far!

I just got home from work and I wanted to take you along on my nightly routine. Tonight I decided to treat myself and take my time getting ready for bed! I enjoy making sure my hair and skin is all pampered before a long night’s sleep. Let’s get started!

I start off by putting my hair half-up half-down to get my hair out of my face.

Next I light my Makers of Wax Goods candle in Sandalwood Musk.

I like to clean my face before I shower, so the first product I use is the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water. This helps clean off the dirt that has been sitting on the surface of my skin throughout the workday since I don’t wear any makeup to work.

Next I’ll use my St. Ives Pink Lemonade & Mandarin Orange Even & Bright Scrub. This product gives such a satisfying clean. I use this all over my face and a little down my neck!

After washing my face, I’ll hop in the shower! I use the Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner. My hair suffers after my multiple experiments with hair dye and this product is perfect for extremely dry and damaged hair.

Then I take a few drops of my Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer and my Radha Rosehip Oil and mix them together. I apply this to my face and down my neck. This helps bring moisture back to my skin. My skin is consistently dry and these have been a perfect mix for me!

I brush my teeth, take out my contacts, and apply my Lashderm Eyelash Growth Serum. I have a few spots on my eyelash line that have “bald-spots” and there has been some regrowth since I started using the Lashderm!

Time to get to bed! My bed is the most important of my nighttime routine.

My bed always contains my favorite bed essentials. I have my Rove Insulate Tumbler that keeps my ice water cold throughout the night. My string lights give me a little bit of light while I work on my computer before I fall asleep. I’ll keep a book nearby (This Modern Love by Will Darbyshire). Lastly, I keep a few of my stuffed animals on the edge of my bed. They have meaningful value to me but also they help make my bed a more comfortable space!

This post was brought to you be Leesa Mattresses. I’ve done some research on these mattresses and the reviews have been outstanding. “A beautiful balance of softness and comfort,” is what one reviewer said! The mattresses are made with three layers of foam; cooling foam, pressure relieving foam, and the dense core support.  I would say that sounds like a bed that I need in my life. Leesa also donates one mattress for every ten they sell and plant one tree for every mattress sold. This company is trying to make the world a better place, one mattress at a time. Check out their story and other info here –> Leesa Mattress!

What are some of your nighttime routine essentials? I’m always looking for new things to pamper myself!

Thank you for reading! I hope you have a great weekend 🙂

Stay rad,

Caroline Abigail

  1. I love routine posts and this one is fabulous (: you’ve got it down! I’ve been thinking about posting a few myself (morning, night, day off). I love to use micellar water to clean my face whether I wear makeup that day or not 👍🏼
