  4. Nominate as many people as you want because it helps spread the positivity!

Questions: & feel free to add any to the list!

1. What’s your favourite thing about yourself? (That can be physically or mentally)

2. When do you feel your most confident?

3. What advice would you give to someone who wasn’t having a good day?

4. What’s your favourite self-care method to undergo when you’re feeling down/stressed?

5. What does self-love mean to you?

Sophie’s Questions;

1. What’s your favourite thing about yourself? (That can be physically or mentally)

My smile. About a year ago, I wrote a post called “Waking Up,” and I talked about how smiling when you wake up in the morning can change your outlook on the rest of the day! I truly believe that smiling has the power to uplift my mood which will be passed on to others throughout the day 🙂

2. When do you feel your most confident?

I am most confident when I’m wearing clothing that I’ve thrifted. Things I find while thrifting are more my personal style and unique compared to what other people wear. When I thrift, I usually spend an hour of two digging through the racks, so when I finally purchase something, it’s because it made me feel like myself.

3. What advice would you give to someone who wasn’t having a good day?

Smile and take a deep breath. Remember that you have control of your emotions. This is one day out of the rest of your life. Sometimes it’s easier said than done, but it also feels good to be optimistic about it. Tomorrow will be a much better day than this one, so just work hard to not let this one bad day affect the rest of your week.

4. What’s your favourite self-care method to undergo when you’re feeling down/stressed?

I love putting my phone down for a few hours and relaxing. I’ll put on a face mask and paint my nails. Then I’ll shower and relax on the couch with a new show I’m watching. Music is another huge stress reliever for me. It’s amazing how music can cure any sadness I feel.

5. What does self-love mean to you?

Self love is about learning to appreciate who you are as a person. Embrace all your faults and strengths. The key is to have a positive attitude and outlook on life. You can’t compare yourself to others because everyone is their own person and that’s what makes you unique. Take the time to care of your mind and your body. Make decisions that are right for you! Life’s too short to look down on yourself. Do the things you love and don’t let others tell you differently. You deserve to be happy. Once you start living your life how you want, the easier the self-love seems to accumulate.

For me, self-love keeps me levelheaded. It’s a journey that made a positive change to my life. It started within and then I was able to love and appreciate everything in my life.

  1. Dreaming of Pink

    1. I’m so glad you love thrifting too! It is hard to find places to thrift sometimes. I usually go to a store called Savers, but that’s probably the only large store I have near me, other than small second hand boutiques!
