Check-In : A Day at College!

Here I am, back at college! It’s my senior year and I can already tell it will be a lot of work. From past blog posts, you may know I’m an Environmental Conservation major. The classes about the environment are the coolest and most interesting ones I’ve ever taken. What you might not know is that I’m working towards my Math minor and those classes are a different story. Math has always been one of my favorite subjects but as the years go on, the classes get harder, and the more time I have to spend on the material. I can’t complain, but it definitely has already taken its toll on my free time. I just have to remind myself to work hard and stay focused; it will all be worth it in the end.

Here’s what a typical school day looks like for me!

I wake up around 8:30am, check social media, and head downstairs to make a coffee and toast.

Then I get ready! I usually just put on a little foundation, powder, and mascara. It might seem unnecessary on a school day, but putting on makeup makes me feel more ready and confident to take on the day.

After my classes, I usually eat lunch and do some school work. Today, and almost every day, I eat a caesar salad with buffalo chicken!

When I’m done eating, I’ll head to my next class or head home for the day, depending on my schedule. At home, I’ll make myself a snack and go to my room to finish up homework or any blog work I want to do. Then I’ll cook dinner, hangout with my roommates, and go to bed!

I hope you enjoyed a peek into my daily life at school. Soon I plan on sharing my minimal makeup look I wear for school and also some “outfit of the week” posts too!

If you have any other suggestion for posts that relate to college, leave a comment!

Have a great weekend!

Stay rad,

Caroline Abigail

  1. Sounds like you are organized, focused and off to a great start with your senior year.

I’m curious as to how you (college students) deal with the stresses of college life. Soon you will be juggling either applying for jobs or grad school, or whatever your future holds, and that requires more time and energy.
